Here is a timeline for the 2008 Regents Scholars Program:
March 20, 2008
Nominations open
The Call for Nominations is mailed to eligible schools and participating Native American tribes. Nomination forms are available on the Web.
April 25
Deadline for submitting nominations
May 9
Last day for students to submit their scholarship forms
May 23
Deadline for academic reference submissions
Transcripts and test scores due to WSU
Note: Students nominated on a PSAT score willneed to submit a qualifying SAT or ACT score by July 18 in order to compete for the Silver or Distinguished award levels.
June
Participating schools and tribes are announced
Regents Scholar nominees and their parents or guardians are individually notified of their nomination status. The process of selecting students for Crimson, Silver, and Distinguished scholarship awards begins.
June through August
Nominees are invited to Regents Scholar receptions
Nominees and their parents may attend one of our exclusive receptions for Regents Scholars held throughout the summer in locations around the state. WSU faculty, admission counselors, alumni, and current Regents Scholars will be on hand to provide in-depth information on what it's like to attend Washington State University.
Nominees and their families are also welcome to attend campus visit events and schedule individual campus visits (find out more about campus visits here).

Regents Scholar awards are announced
Nominees and their parents are individually notified of scholarship awards. Scholarship winners and their awards are published on this Web site and in statewide news media.
