Regents Scholars Program

Recommend a student for a Regents Scholarship

Educators and tribal representatives are invited to recommend as many of their qualified students as they wish.

Recommending a student lets you share your knowledge of the student's leadership, special talents, persistency, citizenship, experience with diversity, and personal goals—information that is very valuable in helping the scholarship committee make its award decisions.

Make your recommendation

You're welcome to recommend as many qualified students as you want; just submit a separate form for each student. Students must be Washington residents and seniors in high school, and have strong academic records (more about eligibility).

What you'll need to complete the form

Student information:

  • Full name as it appears on high school transcript
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • E-mail address

You will be asked to share your knowledge of the student in the following areas:

  • Leadership
  • Special talents
  • Persistency
  • Citizenship
  • Experience with diversity
  • Goals

Please limit your responses to 125 words or less.

Enter your school's or tribe's ID code

WSU has emailed a unique ID code to representatives of Washington high schools and participating Native American tribes. (If your school or tribe did not receive an ID code, please contact WSU Scholarship Services at scholarships@wsu.edu or 509-335-1059.)

To make a Regents Scholarship recommendation, enter your code and then complete the electronic form.
